  • By popular demand, we will be having Monthly Trophy Quad Tournaments. A quad is a 4 player tournament. I will be grouping students by rating and skill level. The winner of each quad will be awarded a trophy which will be mailed! These events will be Chess Express Rated! www.cxrchess.com and occur the last Saturday of every month at 11AM Central Time.  Please register at www.reg4chess.com.


  • Pawn to King Level Tests are due at the end of the semester. The goal is to complete one level per semester. We have Summer, Spring, and Fall semesters.


  • To avoid confusion with 4 different Zoom IDs for tournaments, lessons, school nights etc, we are now using ONE ZOOM ID for everything.

  • I have added a Pawn Knight Tournament on Wednesdays at 6:30PM right after the Pawn Knight Lesson.


  •  FYI: On Wednesdays after Chess School ,our tournaments are Classical and on Sundays, we play Crazyhouse.
